Wendelin Küpers served as Associate Professor at Massey University, Auckland, New Zealand, before becoming a Professor for Strategic Leadership and Organisation Studies at Karlshochschule International University in fall 2013.
After working for several years in the business world, he has studied business administration and economics as well as philosophy and holds a Master’s and a doctoral degree from the University Witten/Herdecke, Germany. He has taught and researched at different universities in Europe as well as overseas and serves as convenor at international conferences and reviewer for various journals.
Combining a phenomenological and inter-disciplinary research, he uses a relational and integral approach for exploring various phenomena and practices in organisations and leadership. In his current investigatins and teachings he focuses on embodied, emotional and creative, respectively aesthetic dimensions in relation to more responsible, and hence sustainable forms of organising and managing. He is also editing a book-serial on the significance of practical wisdom in organisation and leadership.
